Marketing and Brand Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate customer-focused manager to lead the Bureau of Meteorology's Marketing and Brand team within our Community Outreach Program. You will be part of a senior management team responsible for enabling a deep and effective engagement of the Bureau with the Australian community, directly contributing to the Bureau’s Strategic Plan (2017–2022).

You will be an accomplished leader with a proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a team of marketing and communication professionals. Your record of success will include achievements spanning strategic marketing and communication, campaign delivery and brand. Experience and skills in change management and project management will be highly regarded.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as an ability to develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and build a strong sense of purpose and direction as part of a wider team.
The Marketing and Brand Manager is a senior leadership position within the Community Outreach Program. The Program has enterprise-wide responsibility for state media management, social media, video, public education, marketing, design and stakeholder engagement in support of the Bureau’s mission.
