About the role

Reporting to the eCommerce Trading & Content Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the eCommerce targets and strategy by developing trading insights and actions across all channels including the website, mobile app and corporate B2B channels. You will be a passionate Optimisation Specialist who loves to push the boundaries on what analytics can do to drive data driven business outcomes. You will proactively identify data and optimisation opportunities to the Service Design, UX, Marketing, Content, Technology & Merchandising teams. With extensive knowledge of cross-device Web Analytics, you will live and breath insights that help to establish an internal culture of evidence based decision making.

In addition you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop trading insights and actions for website, app, corporate B2B and marketing channels, providing CRO, revenue and partnering opportunities and partnering with eComm and Digital Marketing teams to implement them
  • Insights to inform merchandising promotions
  • Adhoc reporting to support trade decisions
  • Weekly reporting to support trade meeting and updating senior leaders
  • Reporting on testing results
  • Maintenance of insights repository
  • Empowering team members with trade insights and knowledge to support their roles

About You

The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering complex results to various levels of stakeholders with the ability to draw hypotheses of what drive customers behaviours. You will have experience gathering business requirements, scope and build the analytics solution to deliver the results to the business partner in a clear and concise way by bringing to life the data.

In addition:

  • 3+ years eCommerce experience, retailing preferable
  • Expert experience using web analytics e.g. Adobe Analytics and Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience and knowledge with digital marketing channels and tools
  • Knowledge of information architecture principles
  • Knowledge of UX and CX principles
  • Great communication and articulation skills
  • Highly competent in Excel
