The Pizza & Grill Co. is the Northern Suburbs premier restaurant. We are an exciting Family Restaurant that strives to produce fun delicious food in a relaxed and exciting atmosphere for customers. Pizzas, Burgers, Steaks, and Pastas highlight our menu.


 


Head Chef Role


You'll put the customers at the heart of everything you do, create a positive and fun team culture for your kitchen staff, and deliver exceptional food each and every day.


You will work with our Restaurant manager and kitchen staff on completing day to day tasks and be responsible in the running of the kitchen. You must have a good ability to learn quickly, have an attention for detail, able to multi-task and work under pressure. You will also be hands on with your work. We have a large team and we prefer our leaders to lead from the front then sit back and watch.


 


You must have the ability to work well under pressure and manage your team to meet customer expectations in regard to the quality and timeliness of meals. Working in a team through service in a 250 seat restaurant plus a 160 seat function space is a special skill and those who don't have experience at this level need not apply.


 


You will need to be dedicated, clean, well presented, have passion for the hospitality industry and work well in a team environment. Customer Focus is a large part of the culture of our team and therefore must be consistent in your work ethic. You must be motivated and willing to work flexible hours - lunch & dinner - as we open from 11am to 11pm seven days.


 


The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role previously, along with good command of the English language. Must have a valid working visa or be an Australian resident. You must also have a vehicle as the hours will vary.
